Starting to get a little bit stressed to be honest…. I am leaving for India in a week and since I will be there for three months I need to get some things sorted before. I wanted to start to work with some foundraising today but no time for that. Have a year of salary to register and send to the tax- office first. At the moment there are a lot of accounting and paper work that need to be solved for my mum’s business before I can do something else. Going back to work….

Time to open up
Eating dinner yesterday reminded me that the way you order your food is not the same everywhere. I should have learned from living in Spain, but no, I ordered a plate with turkey and got only turkey, no potatoe, no salad, nada. Only meat… Actually getting a little bit angry at my self and my narrative way of seeing the world.
I have also learned that Minsk has been renamed twenty times… sounds like a lot of unecessary work to me.
And after ordering lunch at a restaurant pointing at what I wanted and the waiters weighting my plate of salad I am amized by the way things work here….

Breakfast and bus in Minsk
After a, to be honest, not very nice breakfast, me and Måns met up with the Belarusian organization we came here for. Out in Minsk looking at the technical aspect of their peoplefm.org, we also got the oppertunity to see the town and learn about its history.
The organization is working on another project where they are leaving pre-paid bus tickets on the buses, in protest of that the reduced bus-prices for students has been taken away. The buses had a interesting system with a lady pushing herself through the over-crowded bus trying to charge everyone for the ride. Right now I am looking forward to go on with the metro tomorrow to see how that works.

Snowing in Minsk
Sunday evening, oh my god it was an early morning. I got on the train 7 o’clock this morning, going to Copenhagen and from there to Riga and then Minsk. Finally in the city I have longed to see for so long. Feeling a little bit sad, though I am missing my computer like hell and it is hard to get any work done. However, here I am, at hotel Minsk. Snow and cold outside in the city of big streets and enormous buildings. Trying out different things to get the project to work that we came here for.

Time to start…
To start with I of would like to welcome you to my blog, sorry I forgot to do that before. The reason for having a blog is pretty simple, I got the oppertunity to have a blog thorough a project managment tool we are working with in school. I am studying at a school in Malmoe, The Kaospilot, focusing on project, process and business design. I am studying my forth semester here and my team is soon going to Mumbai for three months. The second reason for writing is that I see it as an easy way to keep people around me updated with what I am doing and what I am experience. Hope you will have some good reading… all the best
Seminary; living in India…
After sitting and listening at Anders Winther from the Kaospilot team12, talking about what you should think about when going to India I can see similarities to the culture in other countries. To me it seems like he knows a lot about India and the culture but the question I am asking is if he is able to look at it from an systemic perspective. For me it seems like the culture of the way of looking at women are alike to Spain. Anders tells us that people often are screaming to women at the street like, “madam you look good”, which for me is very similar to what they do in Spain. I have also experienced the same kind of thing in Marocco when I was in Tanger. Right now I am really looking forward to go to Mumbai and experience the culture for myself and find out how I look at it. But I am going to follow one of Anders tips to buy an indian skirt.
